Our client aims to support vulnerable people within the community to
live with a high degree of independence. They support people including
those with a learning disability, physical disability, those
experiencing mental ill health and older adults to achieve an
independent lifestyle. Initially you will be based from one of our
clients homes but this role will develop into a 1 on 1 Support work
within the service users own home. You will need to use your own
intuitive in this role and well as being patient ,caring and friendly.
You main aim's for you clients will be :
To build a package of support and/or care that is genuinely centred on
the individual’s needs and aspirations.
To provide the highest possible quality of care and support to the
individual, who because of a learning disability, mental illness or
physical disability requires support to live independently.
To ensure that your service responds to the needs as described in the
individuals Person Centred Plan and/or Plan of Care / Support.
You must have a minimum 2 year background in supporting those with
learning and physical disabilities and be competent in manual handling.
Shift work will be involved including earlies 7am-3pm, lates 2pm-10pm
and will include sleep inns on a rotational basis-sleeps inns will be
paid at a rate of £35.
