This role involves sales
order processing liaising with N.H.S. hospitals confirming sales orders
(approx 50-80 per day) offering alternatives if out of stock, renewing
contracts and up-selling specials.9-5.30 Monday to Friday
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1.
To achieve Institutional Sales and Gross Profit targets as set.
Maintain a customer focus and provide an excellent service to
institutional customers. Build relationship with customers at different
levels. Keep customer records up to date with an accurate description
of Trusts, Clinics etc. Identity business opportunities and gather
information on up-coming tenders.
2.
Assist the Inbound team by answer all incoming calls within 3
rings, in a polite friendly manner, introducing both the company and
yourself.
3.
Resolve customer’s complaints in a timely and efficient manner
and liaise with Customer Advocacy as and when necessary.
4.
Achieve a high level of accuracy on all orders, Ups-ell and cross
sell on every order to increase both size and order value.
5.
Maintain a professional manner when making outbound calls,
Identify and make contact with decision maker. Achieve objective when
making calls to customer with relevant offer/enquiry details.
6.
Where necessary achieve and exceed Sales, Gross Profit and Lost
Call targets as set by the Line Manager.
7.
Process orders and enquiry’s following Quality Control
Procedures. Ensure that all Quotation are dealt with recording the
correct information and submitted by the deadline or on a timely basis.
8.
Record and update customer database with relevant information.
Ensure that all records are up to date, filed and easily assessable.
9.
Carry out work willingly and well, receptive to new ideas and
promote good atmosphere.
10.
Ensure that all communication to customers both written and
verbal maintains a high standard both in presentation and content.
11.
Work as necessary to provide optimum cover to customers during
office hours.
12.
Give support to team members assist other departments, as and
when necessary.
13.
Attend staff meetings, training courses, exhibitions and seminars
as required.
14.
Be an enthusiastic team player at all times.
15.
Participate in special projects and perform other duties as
required
